Back in August, I mentioned the concerns residents had raised with me about the state of the pavement on Perth Road outside Duncan of Jordanstone - broken slabs and an obvious trip hazard.
At the time, the City Council assured me that an Order for the re-setting of the loose slabs had been made. I have since been informed that :
“The Road Maintenance Partnership inspector has advised that four slabs have been fixed on this section of footway and that there were no actionable defects noted when he inspected it on 16-10-14 following your email.”
However, many of the slabs remain cracked – see right. I have again highlighted this with the City Council and asked that the poor pavement here is given significant improvement in the future – including broken slab replacement.
