Last Summer, at the request of local residents, I raised with the City Council concerns about the future of the two rather historic plaques that were at the Blackness Road entrance to the old Logie Secondary site, by then a construction site for the new St Joseph's Primary, Park Place (Victoria Park) Primary and Park Place (Balgay Hill) Nursery Schools.
The concern was about possible damage or loss during construction and - all credit to the City Council's Project Manager - she had them placed in her office at Council HQ for safe keeping.
As the new schools are soon to open, the plaques - renovated and looking great - are now back at the entrance to the new building. Constituents have already commented how good they look - pictures below:
