Over the past week, I have been in regular touch with Dundee City Council's Chief Executive about the travelling people's caravan site on the Riverside Business Park (see right). Tonight's "Evening Telegraph" updated readers about the fact they have moved on.

"The Rapid Response Team are going down tomorrow to clear the site. The owners are aware that we will be billing them for the clean up work we have already done, and will do tomorrow."
This evening, I understand from 'The Courier' that the travellers have simply moved on to the former Norwich Union/Aviva site at the Technology Park.
I assume responsibility for legal action here lies with Scottish Enterprise, but one cannot help think - here we go again.
It is, I feel, important that the travelling community are encouraged to use the facilities already provided for them by the local authority.
