"I can confirm that this road closure has now been cancelled as Scottish Water no longer need to carry out the planned manhole cover repairs."

THE ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1)

THE DUNDEE CITY COUNCIL AS TRAFFIC AUTHORITY being satisfied that traffic on the road should be prohibited in a Westerly direction by reason of Scottish Water manhole cover replacement works being carried out HEREBY PROHIBIT the driving of any vehicle in Hawkhill (from its junction with West Port roundabout to a point opposite Session Street), Dundee.

This notice comes into effect on Sunday 9th March 2025 for one day.

Pedestrian thoroughfare will be maintained.

A diversion for west bound traffic is available via West Marketgait / Lochee Road / Polepark Road / Brook Street / Guthrie Street / Horsewater Wynd.
