Yesterday, I attended the latest meeting of the Jericho House support group, a regular meeting at which a number of us discuss fundraising and other projects to support this important facility in the West End Ward, that assists those recovering from alcoholism.
Following the recent great success of the "Drink! The Musical" starring Jericho House service users and staff, it was good to hear that an invitation has been extended to the play's team to participate in the Edinburgh Fringe.
There was also a very positive report on activities including assistance Jericho House is getting from Enactus Dundee in terms of producing and marketing its planting projects.
