Jericho House |
Yesterday, I attended the latest meeting of the Jericho House support group, a regular meeting at which a number of us discuss fundraising and other projects to support this important facility in the West End Ward, that assists those recovering from alcoholism.
Jericho's staff and service users are starring in a play that it is hoped will be performed during this year's West End Christmas Fortnight. We were pleased to hear yesterday that rehearsals are going well.
Jericho House service users and staff are also participating in a car wash fundraiser (with thanks to Tesco who are hosting it!) later this month and have already participated in 2 alcohol awareness events with Tesco recently.
The house, in Artillery Lane, will also participate in Doors Open Days (13th and 14th September), one of a number of West End buildings taking part.
