Survival and structure in rainforest bird communities

A free talk by Dr Steve Hubbard, College of Life Sciences in the D'Arcy Thompson Zoology Museum, Carnelley Building at the University of Dundee

Tuesday 10th December at 6pm

The University of Dundee is now close to having the longest running dataset in the world on the survival of rainforest birds, thanks to the annual Trinidad expeditions for students led by Steve Hubbard.

In this free talk, Steve will describe how this data will allow fundamental ecological hypotheses about the evolution of life history characteristics to be tested, as well as providing a critical insight into the effects of forest disturbance and climate change.

All welcome - no need to book. Please enter by the front door of Carnelley. Latecomers may not be admitted.
