West End Christmas Fortnight will be launched tomorrow - Saturday 23rd November - with a West End Community Fayre, taking place in Dundee West Church from 10am to 12 noon. Over 25 local groups in the West End are taking part.
Entrance is entirely free of charge and it will be a great way for local residents to learn about all the organisations in the West End that are working for the local area. There will be lots to see, including free face painting for the children and the children from the Russian School and the Polish School will be singing, as will the University of Dundee Gospel Choir.
2013 will see the largest number of West End Christmas activities yet seen and we are again running a whole fortnight of activities. The West End Christmas Committee is really grateful to all local residents, organisations and businesses who have made this programme of events possible and we hope the whole community will take part.
We hope residents will come along to Dundee West Church on Saturday morning to the fayre to see all the activities happening in our local area.
