Latest from Friends of Wighton ...

Barbara Dymock
From Sheena Wellington:

Friends of Wighton's Lunchtime Recital in the Wighton Heritage Centre at the Central Library on Wednesday 6th March features two of Scotland's finest musicians!

Barbara Dymock and Christopher Marra are a new duo on the folk scene, with many different musical collaborations behind them and a vast experience of performing.

Barbara currently sings in her own band or as one half of the duo, Sinsheen, with Christine Kydd.

Dundonian, Christopher Marra is very well known to local audiences through his work in multiple bands over the years, including Skeets Boliver in the 1970's and currently The Hazey Janes.

Chris shows his considerable skill as a sensitive and sympathetic guitar accompanist to Barbara's eclectic, mixed repertoire, as well as contributing to the vocal harmony, and there is always, of course, a wee sprinkling of Dundee humour.

The Recital starts at 1.15pm;  admission is free.   Donations to the Friends of Wighton Outreach programme welcomed!
