Ann Heymann : Harp workshop
Ann will lead the regular Saturday afternoon harp class in the Wighton Centre

Ann Heymann, the master of the Gaelic harp, is currently living and working in Galway, Ireland, holding a Moore Fellowship at the National University of Ireland, Galway.

Ann is the most important person in the revival of the ancient Gaelic harp traditions of Scotland and Ireland; she was the pioneer who returned this amazing instrument to a living tradition starting in the 1970s.   She played on replicas of the medieval Irish and Scottish harps strung with wires of silver and gold, her music is rich, powerful and fantastically intricate.
