I recently mentioned that the River Crescent Residents' Association AGM that I attended last Sunday was tinged with much sadness as one of its leading members, Sheila Fraser, passed away the previous Wednesday, after a short illness.
Today, at Dundee Crematorium, along with her neighbours, her family and many friends, we remembered Sheila and celebrated her life. Sheila had two careers - firstly as a police officer in Fife, and later, a school teacher in Dundee - but above all, she was a much loved mother, grandmother, neighbour and friend. Sheila was always cheerful, positive and smiling - qualities that Rev Bob Mallinson highlighted today.
Sheila was a lovely lady and we will miss her.
