The Tay Bridge Bar is part of the West End's heritage and, after tonight's West End Christmas Concert, Lights Switch On and Fireworks, I had the pleasure of attending the official re-opening of the bar, after its recent refurbishment.
The bar has been beautifully and sympathetically refurbished, keeping its historic interior. I'm pictured (right) with Jimmy Marr, the Tay Bridge Bar's owner, at the bar tonight.
As the last councillor for the former Tay Bridges Ward, the Tay Bridge Bar will always have special place in my heart!
