City Road pavement repairs promised

Last month, following residents' concerns, I raised with both the City Council and Scottish Water the unfinished state of the east pavement of City Road, near the junction with Milnbank Road, following work by Scottish Water.   The matter was also raised at last week's Community Spirit local residents' group meeting.

I again contacted Scottish Water, who promised a site visit with the City Council last Thursday.   Following this, I was advised :

"Following the site meeting ... I can confirm repair work will start next Tuesday.   The road will need to be closed during the repair work and local diversions will be in place."
