Earlier this evening, I attended the latest meeting of Community Spirit Action Group, the residents' group for the north of the West End Ward including Tullideph, Ancrum, Cleghorn and the Pentland area.
The City Council's West End Communities' Officer gave an informative presentation on the current consultation on the new Community Plan for the West End to cover 2012-14.
There was also a useful discussion on numerous local matters including Balgay Park, graffiti problems and the forthcoming community graffiti clean-up next Saturday, damaged pavements, recycling, traffic lights and an overgrown tree concern.
Community Spirit Action Group is an excellent community group and discussion covering many local matters tonight was typical of the really positive work that the group does for its local area.
