It came as a great shock this morning to get a phone call from Scottish Liberal Democrat HQ to let me know that Andrew Reeves, our Director of Campaigns, died last night following a heart attack, aged just 43.
Andy was not just a wholly professional and helpful party organiser and agent, he was immensely likeable and had a great sense of humour. I know from the huge number of e-mails from colleagues around Scotland and further afield (Andy worked for Vince Cable in Twickenham and Lynne Featherstone in Hornsey & Wood Green before coming to Scotland) that he will be so very sadly missed.
