I had a letter in last night's Evening Telegraph, agreeing with a resident who had complained about the really bad potholes in Colinton Place. I had reported this problem to the City Council and, perhaps ironically, last night, a constituent e-mailed me as follows :
"Hi Fraser,
Just to let you know that the rest of the pot holes in Colinton Place have been filled today. Hopefully the good weather will continue and the pot holes won’t come back any time soon."
I am of the view that the road really needs proper resurfacing and asked the City Council about this. I am advised :
"Colinton Place will be considered for possible inclusion in the 2011/ 2012 resurfacing programme - however the programme is still to be confirmed. I will update you once more information is available."
