This morning, along with other City Councillors, I attended an Organ Donor card event at the City Chambers, hosted by the Lord Provost.The event was jointly arranged with REVIVAL (see http://www.revivaluk.org/), a local charity that assists patients who have received or are about to receive an organ donation.
We all signed up on-line to the Organ Donor Register. It's simple to do - click on the headline above and you can do so in a couple of minutes.
There are a substantial number of local people waiting for an organ donation so hopefully this event will encourage more residents to sign up to the register.
